argh!! Idiot! Stupid lappy! Died!!=(
argh! Stupid lappy! Died of natural death..was using it as normal the day b4 exams but after exams i wanna use, it had mysteriously died!! Damn annoying and bloody sad..wahuhuh!! Cannot do alot of things!! It's practically my life! Everyday i dun mind living without any possession except my lappy! I achieve many things with it,everyday will pei yang gan qing with it one lor..and i've never dropped it on the floor b4! but maybe my re qing it cannot tahan den die liao..haiz..all my data etc all gone! Idiot..haiz..oh..must be wondering how come i still can blog without lappy right? Hehe.. Cos technology is good..wahaha..my phone can come online too=) so i may unexpectedly pop up in msn^^ as for what i've been doing these days without my main life support? I'm using backup generator..lols..watching shows=D now rewatching mvp qing ren..hahas..alot of loopholes..oh well..one more thing b4 i go slp..i found a job! Waiteressing again..this time round is cons mum found de..hahas..somehow both cons n my mum de job lobang sama sama one..lols..prev aranda..now true blue..hm..wonder how will things be..but seriously, thou i wanna work, i seriously dread working..so annoying..limit my freedom..if i could do something i wanna do probably more enthu bah..but be waiteress no good..serve ppl food den cannot eat must watch them eat..argh..make me hungry nia..sigh..i wan retire! Y arent i born with a silver,golden,diamond spoon?den shall do whatever i like..haaaiz..oh well..time to slp! Nights!

time to clear cobwebs..22nd feb 2008
wooh..dusty..back to clear the dust that has collected all this time that i've been away..
ok mayb not exactly away, just didnt blog..
anyways, it's now the end of CNY..ytd last day..
shall start with today's happenings=)
went airport to pick up dad today!
was in sch revising for exams, which starts on mon..
dad's flight was due at abt 4pm, so left sch at abt 2.30..
took 27 there and alighted at terminal 3..
dad's to arrive at terminal 2, but was there early so alighted at terminal 3..
anw, terminal 3 is interesting!
hahas..was there on wed i think..walked the upper floors of T3 but didnt go down to the basement, but there were a number of shops both above and below ground!
the basement 2 doesnt even look like airport terminal..it's more like a shopping mall..hahas..found NTUC, candy empire etc there!
oh ya, there's a secret recipe there too..hahas..wonder if we'll be posted there..(puzzled? tell u later..hehe^^)
then i proceeded to first floor, where the arrival halls were at..
it was interesting..there's a tcc there too..
after roaming T3 for abit i left for T2..
i love airports..love the feel of it^^
each time i'm there, i cant help but feel happy..dont know why thou..lols
anw, when i was on the skytrain to T2, saw this ang moh guy with his luggage tagged 'business class' and another tag says 'priority baggage' or sth like tt..sigh..wonder why there shld be a difference in baggage handling too..
oh well..they paid a riddiculous price for business class seats, so i suppose there shld be a difference in baggage care bah..lols..abit stupid thou..
but if i have the $$ to spare, i wont mind..hahahas..
hm..could even go for first class..
speaking of which, when i arrived at T2, saw the first class counter waiting by the gates..
they have those kind of trolleys which usually can be found in hotels for the bellboys to transport guest's luggages to rooms or such, and yes, the ang mohs which i presume were taking first class, since they are enjoying the first class service was just walking behind the guy who was transporting the luggage for him..
somehow it just seems abit funny, cos the distance between the check-in counter and the airport doors cant be over 50 steps, so i seriously wonder why is there a need for such a service..
oh well..the rich..cant lug their own luggage by themselves..and have too much $$ to spare i guess..hahas..
anw, i went down to the arrival hall to await my dad..
on the way down i see a group of jap students..can identify them by the way they dress..
they sure were odd..a grp of them were taking photo of some plants which doesnt seem interesting in any way..lols, oh well..
oh yes! speaking of students, i met a few grps of kindergarten students touring T3..hahas excursion i believe..how cute=D
ok now back to arrival hall..was waiting by belt 31 which was the dedicated belt for baggage for dad's flight..
as i was waiting, saw this 2 pilots walking out..
one of which was an ang moh..4 stripes..means captain i think..
sigh..i want..lols..was sighting for cute pilots and finally found one, and one who is a captain..wahaha^^
anw, at abt 4.10,dad's plane finally landed, and it was 4.39 when he at long last came out frm the arrival gates..
he was taking some time browsing the DFS and waiting for his baggage..hehe^^
he got me bombay sapphire!muahaha..$22 only=D
yes! now i've got gin too..shall get tequila or cointreu nxt..
see how bah..may get absolut too..if got some limited edition thing^^
ok, abt secret recipe, my grp was selected to be posted to secret recipe for SIP..tt's y i was wondering if we were gonna be posted to T3..
now, time to go try study abit bah..gambatte!

ah yat abalone restaurant-1st feb 2008
woot! uncle kelvin treated to cny reunion dinner..^^
the usual ppl..uncle kelvin's fam,my fam,uncle clement's fam n uncle glen, aunt rebecca, aunt irene, n new addition, the MD(managing director..lols jk..it's malay driver la..hahaha)
this time round, dinner was in ah yat abalone restaurant. (also called ah yi, in chinese) costed abt $120+ per pax..
had private room again..even had a toilet in the room..oh yes..had a television too..think probably got 37"..actually wanted karaoke room, but had been booked earlier by others..sad.. anw, first dish was yu sheng..normal cny starter dish..hahas..
the sheng yu pian was salmon..interesting thing was tt we were provided with humongous pair of chopsticks to 'lao' the ingredients! hahas..that's good..cos that way, we no need to use our normal sized chopsticks which is insignificantly small compared with the huge plate of yu sheng to mix.. i've never exactly finished my portion of yu sheng before cos i think it tastes gross, but this one was different! it was so good i finished my portion for the first time in my life! at least i think it's the first time in my life la..hahas..
the waiter who was adding the ingredients for us to 'lao' was saying those ji li hua (prosperous and good luck phrases) etc..he was frm china..can tell frm the way he speaks..=D
anw, you know the kind of mess yu sheng makes on the table after the 'lao-ing' session? yea..terribly messy eh..n usually the waiters dun care abt it n leave the place unsightly messy but this one, they clean it up real clean! hahas..oh yes..it's tt turn turn thingy chinese restaurants usually have la, nt the table..
btw, the 'pivot' of tt turn turn thingy was pretty! it wasnt just an empty circle like it usually is.. this one has a pretty picture/embriodery of phoenix n a dragon!
anw, after the yu sheng, our plates n chopsticks were changed and then the nxt dish was served..
can u guess? yes, as according to tradition, shark's fin comes nxt..
the shark's fin over there was served in an individual mini claypot! so cute!!!
what's more, the shark's fin wasnt those kind of shredded pieces n stuffs u usually get..
it's the whole damn piece in one perfect condition! shiok..wahaha..
afterwards cant really rmb what order in which they were served, but there were:
-scallop n prawn with peas and carrots..the peas were unexpectedly nice! it's those in their pods kind of peas you know!
oh yes..even the carrots were great..it was crunchy yet no strong carrot-y smell, and the carrot was 'infused' with the sauce too therefore making the carrot taste good without being soggy like if u marinate it too long to try get the taste infused in the carrot..
-alaskan crab with black pepper. the crab was great! it has a different texture than the usual rabs we find in sg..like those sri lankan or wherever..and also, the alaskan crabs had flesh tt are not stuck to the shells of the crab, unlike crabs found locally..
-abalone! main dish in the restaurant i v much believe..hahas..well, their restaurant name is like ah yat abalone restaurant, so it's duh i think..
anw, we were each given a whole abalone to ourselves! not v big though..hahas..otherwise doubt it'll only cost 120+ per pax..the abalone was delicious though..hahas..
-roasted duck. meat was tender and tasted great. had no strong duck-y smell.. unlike some which were cooked till the meat is dry..the duck sauce was a great companion to the dish too..
-fish. no idea what fish it was, but fish was alright la..dun exactly know how to tell the diff with fish..hahas..cos like usually dont eat such a big fish since at home only got me my mum n dad, and cant possibly finish a whole large fish by ourselves mah..
-yi mee. the last main dinner dish..hahas..yi mee was alright too i guess..think mayb the marriot one was better?anw, i know for certain i like the marriot's dessert better..hahahahaha..
-mango pudding/gui ling gao/'ham sup' tang yuan(lols..it's almond la). the choices for dessert..
y i say i prefer marriot's dessert is cos tt time de dessert came in such a way it was really really pretty!! hahaha..think dad prefers the dessert this time round better than the marriot..
he had gui ling gao both times..hahas..
after dinner, yes there was entertainment again..so to speak..went 2nd floor for drinks..
very much prefer the place at the top of the marriot hotel than the ching's bar at tt allson hotel.. y? cos tt ching's bar is like cheena type with all those china girls singing songs, and most of the customers were lao ah peks, n had those china girls pei them talk n drink..
was killing time deleting messages before we finally left for home..hahas..
tml's reunion dinner at dad's mom's place..
seems like it's the start of the eating phase of the cny..hahas..shit..gonna be fatter than ever.. hahahaha..must control n not eat too much new yr goodies..=D
yay! will be slightly richer after cny..hahas..
